Coral Protocol has announced the launch of Coral v1, introducing Remote Agents to empower developers to deploy multi-agent software in minutes. Launched today, Coral v1 with Remote Agents unlocks access to production-ready multi-agents on demand.
The release of Coral v1 means that for the first time developers can rent ready-to-use Remote Agents and combine them with their own local agents in a single session, with every decision tracked and optimized in Coral Studio using threads and telemetry. Agent developers, meanwhile, can list their agents in the Coral Registry and earn automatic payouts whenever their agents are used.
Coral v1 goes live with support for Remote Agent creation, acquisition, and customization, all backed by Coral’s secure onchain payment system powered by Solana. Its release enables AI builders to leverage agents that specialize in different domains, increasing efficiency and competency.
Roman Georgio, Co-Founder & CEO of Coral Protocol, said: “The launch of Coral v1 with Remote Agents embodies everything Coral has been working towards up until now: an AI ecosystem that can accomplish virtually anything through combining distinct agents, each with their own sphere of expertise. We’re excited to see how developers harness Remote Agents to develop solutions that raise the bar in terms of what can be achieved onchain.”
Remote Agents has been designed to solve the key challenges synonymous with incumbent multi-agent frameworks. It enables teams to rapidly deploy multi-agent solutions, reducing both development time and infrastructure demands. By uniting agents operating across multiple blockchain ecosystems, v1 enhances interoperability, making it effortless for agents to collaborate to achieve shared goals.
The ability to tap into multi-agent workflows means that web3 developers can rapidly create and iterate collaborative multi-agent systems. In the process, it ensures that agent creators are fairly remunerated for the value that they add. Unlike frameworks such as LangChain, Coral v1 with Remote Agents allows rules for agent interaction to be defined at the protocol level, making collaboration and payments seamless.
Existing multi-agent solutions are reliant upon calling agents like functions using an algorithm, which can be limiting. Coral v1 with Remote Agents allows multi-agent systems to be designed using an organizational structure, with separate teams and clearly-defined processes dictating how they interact.
Coral Protocol’s release of Coral v1 with Remote Agents, a public registry, and automatic payments will accelerate the adoption of multi-agent solutions. The launch allows developers to mix and match from Coral’s growing library of agents to assemble advanced systems that are open-source and fully composable.
